Architecture

Pugh + Scarpa’s master plan for an existing industrial site in the heart of Culver City, adjacent to the Ballona Creek waterway, comprised of a series of disparate warehouse buildings and surface parking, creates an exciting workplace community. Part of the recent Culver City renaissance, the program called for the conversion of a complex of industrial brick buildings into a veritable small village of creative office space, complete with a small café. The work included complete shell and core rehabilitation, demolition and addition of structures and tying together two parcels to improve parking and traffic flow.
